I have several Intermatic HA-05 screw in Z-Wave light modules. They all worked flawlessly with the Nexia system I used previously.
Today, when I added them to the Vera system I am having issues. I can command the module to shut off from my computer or mobile device, however I am unable to successfully execute the command to turn on remotely. I can manually turn on the device by pressing the black on/off/prog button. When attempting to turn on remotely, I see the light above the on/off/prob button flash rapidly as it receives the signal, but the command is not successful.
My Vera system tells me the module “Can’t Detect Device” as listed on the Device page.
Any ideas on what is causing the issue and how to rectify it?
I got mine to work by downgrading my Vera Lite Firmware to UI7 version 1.7.318. You can use the following link in the “URL for Vera custom firmware” section of Firmware:
An update with the HA05.
I am currently on UI7 firmware version 1.7.439, and was having the same issue with the HA05 no longer responding to On commands.
Vera Tech Support was able to solve the issue for me, and commented that the fix should be in the next firmware release.

Do you know what tech support did? Can we do it on our own? I have 3 of these with the same problem, can’t turn them on?

I have same issue on VeraEdge UI7 1.7.850
thanks for the update, at least we know they are working on it
I just upgraded my firmware today to 1.7.439 on my Vera3. This is still broken, I rolled back to a previous version when I upgraded the last time. I was hoping this version fixed the issue.
If I turn the lamp on manually I can shut it off using the Web or iPhone interface, but I cannot turn it on.
Anyone else still having the issue after the upgrade to 1.7.439?
Well, it was working for a while. I have two HA05s that support fixed for me upon my email request (12/7). However, now one of them is behaving as though it was never fixed. The second one is continuing to function as expected. Does anyone know what support is doing to fix these? Would much rather just fix this on my own if it’s going to break again. I’ve sent a follow-up to tech support, but no reply yet… likely due to the holidays.
Also, can anyone confirm if this is fixed in 1.7.481? I don’t see it mentioned in the changelog.
