I need some help wiring my Intermatic CA3750 to power my swimming pool pump. I thought this would be a simple task since I was replacing my old Intermatic manual timer T101 with this new switch CA3750.
My old timer had
white to Neutral
black to Line
red to load
The new 3750 instructions are extremely difficult to read for a novice like me.
I connected
white to Line/Neutral (1)
black to Line (2)
red to Load1 (4)
I have 120V and I’ve already moved the jumper to 120 and also the dip switch to 2 SPST. When I throw the circuit breaker back on to the CA3750 provides power to the pool pump but I cannot turn it off. It seems to have constant power. If I press the “button” on the device I can hear it switch but the power remains on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
