I have 2 SRT321’s and one FGS221, i am trying to set up a zone-heating system using a relay box (non zwave) and i have to get the SRT321’s switching the FGS221’s on both outputs (1 SRT321 switches output 1 and the other one switches output 2). I want to set this up by means of association because it would like for it to work when my vera edge is not working / having problems.
I did include everything into the network, and all components are working stand-alone. (i can switch using the FGS221 and see temp. readings of the SRT321’s). I managed to associate 1 SRT to output 1 of the switch, and this works, but whenever i try to associate the second SRT to the output 2 of the switch it fails. It looks like the value is not accepted by the SRT, the vera UI says setting association (or something like that) but the value itself is not stored.
Anyone with experience in using the SRT321’s with multi-channel associations?
Thanks in advance and regards,
Michael
PS: Running vera Edge with UI7 and firmware 1.7.906
Wondering if anyone can help me I have an issue with my Secure 2-Channel Receiver (SSR302) and the HRT4-ZW I’ve had it for a year an a half and the first year it worked ok apart from the receiver used to flash amber after the morning scene had finished. But I had scenes setup to set the thermostat to certain temperatures and then in the evenings I used to have a scene that lowered the temp and heating was turned off…
Then my vera lite box died and I ended up buying new one of course this was on a newer firm ware and I was told the devices were not compatible so with the help from Vera support I downgraded and it appeared to work, however in recent weeks and I know I have spotted this in the past few months but played a blind eye to it, the heating is not behaving…
What I mean is I’ve set the temperature to be 21 degrees most the time however i’ll come home to find the house is cooking at 23 degrees… I first though it must be set higher however looking at the vera dashboard the heating devices are set to off (with a default set point of 19) however the thermostat is reading the room temp at 23 degrees and the set temp is 19 but the heating is on. I’ve then manually checked the receiver and when I press both white buttons they are red (which means off) but the heating system is still on as I can hear the boiler starting up and kicking in…
The strange thing is at times it will work, but it’s getting more frequent with it not working…
I don’t know what is going on thinking I remove them from the Vera lite box and re-add, maybe plug the old kit back in just to confirm the heating system is working as it should…

If the relay is off but the heating is still running then it doesn’t sound as though Vera is causing this. I would suspect welded contacts due to switching a large inductive load or a stuck valve. What load does the relay switch? They are designed to switch loads like motorized valves. A larger load could weld the contacts.
Hello,
Same problem as foeske in post #40. Trying to associate an SRT321 with the second switch of a FGS221.
I have nothing else on my (UI7) system. The way suggested by RexBeckett (post#36) for relay 2 does not work for me.
flyveleder, did it work for you?
If yes, I suppose it is an issue with UI7?
any news how to associate output2 of the fgs221 to a srt321 thermostat?
Since I can?t find my fgs 221 in my device list when associating (I don’t know why?) , I do it mannualy in the advanced in AssociationSet 2,# and also AssociationGet 2,#.;
but when I put the ID of the second output of the fgs 221 the device controls the Output 1… ??? ??? ??? ???
