Installing/Configuring ad2usb

I am getting a new alarm panel next week (vista 21ip). I already have the ad2usb adapter. So I am wondering what I need to do in terms of setup while the technician is here. I read something about an installer code. Is that something I get from them, or have them do while here, or something I figure out after they leave?

I just don’t want to have them leave only to find out I need to have them come back.

Hopefully they will give you the installers code, if not have them activate a keypad in the panel at whatever address you setup your ad2usb as, default I think is 18. first keypad is always 16, then 17 and so on. also get a list of the other keypad addresses as you will need those when setting up the plugin.
