I bought the IT100 interface but am not sure how to mount it onto the DSC1832 board. I am fairly certain how to connect the green, red, black and yellow wires (as indicated in the attached photo) but I can’t leave the IT100 dangling from these four wires. Any suggestions?
Drill holes in the enclosure, and get some of those little plastic stand-off’s/risers to mount it where you need it.
For my alarm system’s enclosure, there were a bunch of holes ready for this, and the interface board came with the plastic stand-off’s, so it was easy.
Kathy, it looks like your enclosure is somewhat similar to mine. Like @guessed I was able to mount it with the holes that were in the enclosure to begin with, on the lower right side of the enclosure with the IT-100 almost touching the bottom of the enclosure and the serial port pointing up.
If its a DSC enclosure then there are mounting points on the sides of the box, in all four corners for zone expanders or boards like the IT100 or TL150.
