inconsistent behavior

I thought I was making good progress with my unit, I’m running the new hardware with UI2 1.0.987, now I’m confused about he behavior and can’t seem to find anything on the forum about what I’m doing wrong.

The only change I can think of is I did load the Luup smartphone plugin. Still can’t get it to work on my BB but that’s a separate story.

I have a couple lamps and a WD thermostat connected now.

I can control [on/off, set level, set temps] all of devices from the dashboard but the status displayed is incorrect for all of the devices.

I’ve removed scenes, events, reloaded, cleared cache,

Anyone have any idea’s

depending on how the devices are activated it can take quite a while for status to display correctly, if I use vera to turn something on then the status is correct, but if I turn on a light manually it will not display correct status until that device gets polled which may take a good while especially if I have been making changes and Vera is busy

If I turn one lamp device on from Vera it goes on but the display indicates it is off.
The other one shows it is always on, even though it is off. I can turn it on, it goes on, then turn it off, it goes off, but the display remains ‘on’.

I’m really sorry about the problems with 985/987. 979 remains our last official stable UI2 release, but we needed to rush through an unscheduled UI2 build (985) for the Square Connect iPhone app beta testers who didn’t want to use UI3. It was unexpected because we were expecting all of them to use the official UI3 release. Anyway, we discovered this morning a small issue in the .987 build preventing the UI from updating, which was caused by a small API change that was written for Square Connect for UI3 which hadn’t been tested with the UI2. I will ask our testers to test this 988 build on Monday, but, in the meantime, it’s been reported that it solves the issue: http://download.controlmyhouse.net/betafirmware/ftp/wl500gP_Luup_ui2-1.0.988-1.trx

Thank you.
I does appear to solve the problem I encountered.
