Hi all,
I really dont get this.
Ive got a Vera3 and a couple of items in my network.
I want to add a BushJaeger-set-5460 but it keeps disappearing on me.
When I include it it pops up and all looks well.
Settings can be made but as soon as my Vera restarts it disappears.
I can add the thing directly again but the stupid thing seems to forget is within a few seconds (as soon as restart procedure initiates).
Does anyone have a clue what to do?
Ive got this document http://wiki.zwaveeurope.com/index.php?title=Use_ZME_06443_as_Scene_Controller_in_VERA and ive read pretty much everything related to this thing but for some reason my Vera seams to be demented with an memory span of about 20 seconds.
Well, I think it indicates that something went wrong with the inclusion. That is, the Z-Wave chip inside Vera has decided that the device inclusion did not succeed, and therefore when Vera restarts and gets the list of Z-Wave devices from the chip, it has disappeared.
Just guessing, but are you sure you are including it as a secondary controller? (Assuming this device is a scene controller.)
Okey, a couple of days later and i wanted to startover with a fresh mind;)
I started again with the inclusion and voila, the thing got found:)
I changed the settings 13 and 14 to “3” and the wakeup to a week, as described in the document.
Tried to add the signal as a trigger and nothing happens.
Ok, lets try again: remove the device and add it again. Now 2 devices popped up for the same thing (one with the old name I gave it earlier).
Now I removed both of these devices and tried to add the thing again which added 3 devices!!!
Since I am seriously fing up my config with nonexcisting en especially nonworking things Im getting a bit frustrated here…
What on earth am I doing wrong???
