in a loop: Luup : Downloading Luup Plugins

h7 managing devices

and this goes away and comes back in a loop…

EDIT:
It seems some files are not available. After uninstalling altui and reainstalling it wont install…:
Config: start configuration. This should not take more than 2 minutes.
Config: found device: 578 for app: 8246
Config: waiting app data for app: 8246
Config: found app data.
Config: config data was not found. Waiting for it…

Seems to be some install problems although it is not fully clear from your description
However try to type that url in your browser and ignore the error messages and give time to your Vera to reload
http://:3480/data_request?id=action&serviceId=urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:HomeAutomationGateway1&action=CreatePlugin&PluginNum=8246&Version=29661

Will do…

for now. Altui is loaded. 2 lines in blue bar (Luup : Downloading Luup Plugins & Luup : Downloading Luup Plugins) still persist and when I click “open window” is gives me:

“No handler”

If Veras’s trying to download plugins it may not have completed its restart, in which case the AltUI handler will not be running.

This looks purely like a Vera problem and it may help to revert to the UI7 interface to resolve this. The 404 “Not found” messages are just for icons and certainly should not cause a problem like this.

amg0, that worked thank you.

Hi ak - have the same situation on both my vera 3 boxes. Should I use the same link? Many thanks.

yes

Tried the link and fyi got …

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 2 at column 50: xmlns:u: ‘Unknown Service’ is not a valid URI
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

OK

So … uninstalled, reistalled and then upgraded worked fine. Cheers have a good w-e!

My bad - I didn’t wait long enough. Link did work on other box. Eejit.

The error given by the page when you use the manual install URL is perfectly normal. ignore it.
yes, then wait VERA to reload once or twice and you should be set
