I Need a UK Power supply for Vera 3? But where from?

Hi All,

I need a UK power supply for a Vera 3? But i cant find where to order a UK one from? I curently have a 2 pin with uk adapter and would like to get the proper plug as mine is a little dogy with the adapter etc.

Any one able to point me in the correct direction?

The specs for the Vera 3 power are: Input AC 100 ~ 240v, 50~60Hz - Output DC 12V/2A. Although the back of the unit at the power plug seems to read 12v/1A.

It looks to be a pretty standard plug and I believe most standard power supplies that confirm to the above specs should work. If you have the original one, it would be trivial using a multimeter to determine the plug’s polarity if it’s not marked on the power supply itself.

Are there any electronics parts suppliers in the UK like eg Radio Shack? I’d suggest to also check the UK eBay or Amazon sites.

Found the specs and this - http://www.sunny-group.com/en/production_view.asp?pdid=331 which shows the one i want but i cant seem to buy it from them?

Do micasaverde sell them? cant see them on there online shop.

Not sure about that specific one or if MiCasaVerde sells them. I’d try the UK sellers I posted first to see if they have them.

Alternatively, try ebay.co.uk with search “power supply” +12v +2a which brings up a load of them and I;m sure one or more should work with your Vera 3. Ask the seller and describe your existing plug (specify inside/outside diameter and length a minimum)
