I am new to all of this and after several searches can not find yale lock answer

I am just trying to control a yale deadbolt. I am using a lite upgraded to u17. the new desktop allows me to add a pin but not delete. I am using this for rental property and want to be able to delete and add pins. Is there a program to do this or am I going to have to get a new controller?

Check your manual. You haven’t posted the model # but I would search the manual for deleting pins or temporary pin assignment. Lots of locks may have slight variations on the same thing.

When looking at your device in the Vera gui you should have a Control section or other menus like “PIN” that should allow you to add and delete from that screen. Maybe represented by a “trash can” rather than saying “delete”.

Make sure your controller has the ability to “add” or “delete” user or pin codes remotely. Not all controllers have this ability. If you need a better lock, like a Kwikset deadbolt, contact me and I can sell you one.
