HSM100 "Unable to get any information on node"

I have a HSM100 with maybe a problem. It is paired with a Vera 2

Everything seems to work well , but I have the message:

“Unable to get any information on node”

What does that mean ?

If you’ve recently ran a z-wave heal operation, or I believe even manually attempted to poll the HSM-100, you’ll see this message, but it doesn’t necessarily indicate a problem. Since the device is battery operated, its default configuration is to only “wakeup” and communicate with the vera periodically. Since it was likely not awake when the aforementioned operation was run, Vera is letting you know that it couldn’t be communicated with.

Typically, you’ll see this message disappear after several hours, once the sensor checks in with vera.

That will work unless the batteries are dead. You can also press the blue button to wake up the device so it will talk to Vera right away.

Yes I manually attempted to poll the HSM100. :-[

Thanks to fall-line and CMRancho: i now have a better understanding of the way the device works.
