HSM100 (motion, Temp, light sensor) Connection Issue

I added this device and it was sending messages back and forth to my Vera3. All worked well, I would say that it never really relayed the true temperature, but the motion sensor and the light sensor were on point.

I even had each function in my device tab under Climate. Then the device did not work right, so I deleted it (read the online forums and it says that deleting the device isn’t very helpful) and re-installed it but now the Vera3 DOESN’T recognize the device anymore.

The best it can do is make it a generic Sensor without any functions. I rebooted my laptop, Vera 3 and the HSM100 but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Remove the device and then add it again but the leave Vera alone. My took about .5 hour to appear correctly other devices took longer.

Thanks, I walked away from it so i’ll take your advice and do it tomorrow.

Are you running UI5? There seem to be some issues with that and the HSM100:

Just installed mine with no issues.
I do notice the temp is a bit high though.
I think I’ve seen this mentioned previously…

If you “deleted” the device it will not install corectly, you must “Exclude” it, you can do so even if it’s not in your network, then it should reinstall correctly
