HSM02 Door/Windows sensor and Fibaro FGS211 1x3Kw problem

Hi,

I installes the HSM02 Door sensor and the FGS211 in my toilet. The desired result is to get the light on when I open the door and to stay on for another 10 minutes, unless I swotch of the light myself.

I included both devices succesfull and I associated the HSM02 with the FGS211 (Group ID 2, set to FGS211 node).

Now I made two scenes:
1- Switch on light when HSM02 is tripped
2- Switch off light after after FGS211 is tripped with a delay of 10 mins.

The light switches on indeed when I open the door of the tiolet, but when I close the door teh light is switched off again (hence I’m sitting in the dark on the toilet). What am I not seeing here? ???

P.S. When adding the FGS211 I also got an extra unknown _Appliance Module which I cannot delete.

Any help will be much appreciated.

This is happening because you directly associated the FGS211 with the sensor. If you want Vera to control the light through scenes, Lua or PLxx plugins, remove the association.

The extra device for the FGS211 is the second switch (S2). You could connect a switch to it and use it as an additional trigger for something. Or, you could just ignore it. I usually rename mine to S2 to avid confusion with all the others I have.

So, you basically can’t make an association AND make Vera control the FGS211, correct?

Can you also connect 2 lights to it? I tought that you need the 2x1.5kW for that? Or am I completely mistaken?

You can but the association will override Vera's commands when it fires. The direct association means that the HSM02 will send both on and off commands to the FGS211. If you want to keep the light on after the door closes, you can't use the association.

The FGS221 has two 1.5kW relays and two inputs (one for each relay). The FGS211 has one 3kW relay and two inputs (S1 for the relay and S2 which can be associated to other devices or used as a signal to Vera).

But they both have S1 and S2 right? Don’t really get what the difference is (in functionality that is). With the 2x1.5 you can switch 2 lights seperately, and with the 1x3k also?
