I have an HSM-100 located on the front of my garage and I do not receive updates in Vera periodically as I should regarding Temperature and Brightness. I deleted the sensor and re-added it, let Vera repair my network a couple of times, pressed the blue button numerous times on the HSM100, and still no reliable updates. I have the WakeUp interval set to 360 seconds, and I have the Custom ZWave Setting for On Time (Setting 2) set to 3 minutes.
Yes, I have gotten some updates, just none recently over the past 12 hours or so. No errors in the logs related to the sensor. Only about 20 ft. to nearest switch, but I noticed this is not listed as a neighbor in the setup, and also I noticed I did not set up each individual device on the sensor as automatically configured, although the overall device is set up this way. I made the changes to have automatic setup for Temperature, Motion and Brightness sensors, and I might manually add the switch as a neighbor.
Still no joy. I deleted the HSM100 from my network, and re-added it, and it shows up as configured, but no data is being sent (Temp, Motion, Brightness).
Logs show successful configuration and responses and I have a green cog.
what firmware version are u using.
did you use custom configuration settings?
Where did you include the device near Vera and then move it farther away.
You may need to do a network heal .

I am running latest firmware (616). I included the HSM100 where it is permanently located and have run a network heal twice.
Ran some more tests today and it seems that the HSM100 goes to sleep and does not wake up, and then Vera loses contact. I set the WakeUp setting to 360 seconds, what do other people have this set as?
Is there any possibility that the device is out of range of Vera?
Or
I have had problems with those and Vera. You need to get the thing configured by pressing the blue button. check the logs for succes.
Otherwise i wonder if you killed the batteries by settting the wake-up too quick.
I have an HSM-100 as well, and I don’t get any reports as well. I believe this is due to my Vera not being the primary controller. I have a Leviton remote set up as primary. Should Vera be seeing reports in my case?

I guess it could be out of range, but I have a number of devices (light switches and wall wart switches within 20 to 40 feet of the detector). The battery icon started showing up yesterday for the HSM100 and reports full power in Vera (probably should not trust it, but the LED on the HSM100 still lights for motion).
I have pressed the blue button numerous times thinking the same thing, but still no reliable updates and motion works intermittently. What settings do you have for Wakeup and do you have any Custom ZWave Settings set?

Do you get the temp and light sensor data?[/quote]
Yes, it updates (Temp and Brightness) and I get a green cog. Then after a period of time, the updates stop and the motion detection works intermittently, not consistently.
Mine is always showing 100% and been at 100% for over 4 months now, which is unbelievable…
On the other hand, Hawking door/window HRDS1 sensor was always showing truthful battery levels gradually dropping from 100% for new batteries to about 50% until I upgraded to 616 and now it shows 255%, which is obviously bogus
