how to setup for Arming and Disarming?

First timer on the forum and newbie vera user. Hello everyone and thanks for the great info.

I just installed my vera and I purchased a DSC TL-150 board. I had troubles and changes interface to 3DS and the LUA problem went away. My only issue is arm and disarm. They dont work. Vera says remote arm is not enabled. I changed the variable in the advanced tab to disarm and it still does not work. What or where should my next step be?

Just to be sure, you set “EnableRemoteArm” equal to “disarm” for the main device (and not the partition)?

Did you try setting it to “arm” and see if just arming works?

I had the device type set to 3DS. When I changed variables it says has to be IT100 or 2DS. I set it to 2DS and I get the Lua failure. So it doesnt work at all. Does it matter that I have 2 door zones or are there other variables i should change? the DSC TL-150 board instead of the EVL shouldnt be a problem?

@pricebn this plugin only works with the IT100 or EVL3/2DS

I was wondering about that. It looks just like the EVL3 and it was available locally so I picked it up. The board at least works on the network.

I believe they are made by the same company in a round about way, however that’s where similarity ends!

Oops…my apologies! When I read “I had troubles and changes interface to 3DS” I assumed you meant you changed the physical interface…my bad!

@pricebn The IT150 is most likely quite similar to the earlier model Envisalink IP100 that didn’t have the 3rd party interface that the 2DS/EVL3 have and that the plugin uses.

If you are up to the task of writing a plugin, a previous user of the IP100 wrote a plugin for it that you might be able to adapt for the TL150, since it just uses the HTTP interface also:

Thanks. I just tried that and it uploads the files and I create the device but it does not create the partition or zones. I am UI5 and this might only be for UI4???

Likely, but you’d be better off paying the money and either replacing your TL150 with an EVL3, or running them in tandem.
