How to set as: "Suc SIS:YES PRI:YES"

I have ~10 systems I administer for clients. The primary use of these systems is for heat control. No matter what thermostat model I use , when you set the temp on the unit it does not update on the dashboard thermostat module.

that said…
I have gotten my personal system to do the update so I no it works. Thing is I have no idea how to recreate this on the other systems.

The last time I gave UI5 a try on my system I went through hell trying to get things back to normal on UI4. Once I had everything working again my thermostat settings when adjusted locally update on the Vera dashboard!

The one thing I can see that is different from the other systems I administer is that my setting for “Role” in the Z-wave options is “Suc SIS:YES PRI:YES” and the others are not.

thanks for any input

What are the other Vera’s saying? One difference could be that you are on Z-Wave 2.78 and the others on 3.20.

Regardless, the t-stat reporting should be working with the Trane’s, and won’t work with the CT30’s (I’d guess, as that was only recently updated in UI5). Can’t speak to other models.

All systems are on 3.2

Since upgrading to UI5 andthen going back to UI4 both the CT30 and CA8900 are updating the setpoint locally to the dashboard.

Thing is Going back to UI4 was an ordeal so not sure If I can replicate it.

I am going to try on one of my clients that has few devices and see what happens.

If 3.20 is properly initialized, you’d see: [tt]Role Master SIS:NO PRI:YES[/tt]

It seems your Vera was running 2.76 before and then upgraded to 3.20 without applying the hack / something went wrong there.

Interesting (at least for the CT30). So, when you change the set point locally on the thermostat, it will show up on the dashboard?

As far as I am concerned I am glad “something wetn wrong” My personal system is working great; locks, lights, cameras, and especially the thermostats
