Since there is no instruction besides the wiring for the 3 way switch, how do I get it to pair with my network? the only thing I found is to press the switch and it pairs with the remote…
any help will be greatly appreciated.
THanks

What type of switch?
If it’s just a 3way companion switch, it isn’t actually a z-wave device, and doesn’t need to be paired with the network. Only the main switch, which actually controls the load, is paired with the network.

First you have to put Vera in “include” mode. Then you press the MASTER switch to get it to include. As PurdueGuy stated you don’t include the auxiliary switch since it has to Z-wave radio.
Product:
RF controlled, 3-way relay wall switch
Model:
ZW4001

Is this a GE 45609?

Yes it is, once when this was installed, the light on the bottom turned blue, and when I switch it on, I heard a click and the light went off and it seem like the box just shuts down, I tried 2 different boxes with the same result, could it be the box is fried?
Having 2 switches do the same thing is suspect I haven’t had any issues with the GEs, aside from lacking opassociation support.
Did it trip the breaker by chance?
