how to make fibaro relay/switch send a pulse to a gate motor..off/on/off

Good day

I am using a Fibaro relay switch 2 x 1.5kw to control a gate motor via the Vera 3 home controller …

The system worked well up until a week ago and then … nothing…

I need to send the gate controller a pulse (off/on/off) … not a constant on state… any ideas…

The relay/switch is sending an “ON” state which opens the gate and half way through its opening cycle it stops… when I turn “off” the switch from vera the gate continues to open fully.
When I press to close the gate it closes fully with no problem.

I see I can change the configuration to allow the relay to turn off after a few seconds but the vera3 is not accepting the configuration changes…

I cannot change or add the variables. If I am correct the parameter 3 (automatic turning off relay after set time)needs to change to 3 (auto off enabled for both relays)from its default value of 0 (auto off disabled)and parameter 4 (time after which relay is turned off)needs to change to 5 from default value 20( 200ms)…

Am I correct or am I doing something wrong?

Any help will be appreciated.

Have you found a solution for this yet?
I am having the exact same issues with my gate and Garage door

Hi,

You only need to change parameter 3 to value 3 (auto off enabled for both relays).
You can keep parameter 4 to it’s default value (20 ms).

The modifications have to be done on the parent device.

I’m using it to control my 2 garage doors and it’s working fine.
