How to Connect to Vera2 locally?

I want to install some sensors and need to connect to my vera2 locally. I thought that in the past I had used the following link in my browser:
http://192.168.81.1
However, today when I try that I get a windows security pop up window that asks for a Homecontrol userid and password.
Same thing happens when I try micasaverde.com/vera2 /continue /setup.
Same thing happens when I try connecting with http://99.196.195.164, which is the IP address for this vera2 unit that I find on my dashboard at cp.mios.com.
Same thing happens when I try connecting via cp.mios.com and clicking on this vera2 units dashboard.

I also tried disconnecting this vera2 from the internet (satellite modem) and no success.

I tried unplugging satellite modem and vera2 waiting > 2 min, replugging satellite modem and waiting until lights stopped flashing then replugging vera2. I also tried rebooting my computer.

How do I connect or logon locally to my vera2 unit when connected by an ethernet cable?
I run IU4, version 1245, zwave 3.2

Running UI4 version 1183 - type in the local IP address for the Vera2 and it comes right up - did you verify the local ip address for Vera on your router?

Vera2 is serving as my router. I hoped to install my new dual band router this weekend but couldn’t access the vera configuration page to make the change on how it access the internet.

I spoke with MCV support and learned that the homecontrol window pops up if you have checked the box to require local http authentication. This is accessed via the cp.mios.com dashboard/settings. I had not checked that box however!
The Homecontrol username and password are the same as for the individual vera unit.
