I have a Global Cache G100 controlling my A/V equipments and I would like to add a Vera2 to control it over the internet. I need to know how to configure Vera2 and how to connect Vera2 to GC100. Using a USB / serial adapter cable? Thanks.
Both devices are on the same LAN?
You only need to download the GC-100 plugin from the Mios Marketplace and enter the IP into the settings tab then save. No physical connection is needed.

This looks like the solution I am also looking for. I am trying to automate other devices such as garage doors etc and i have ethernet connections to those locations. Is using Global Cache the easiest way to do this. All I really need to do is have some sensor input contacts and some relay outputs.

I have the same hardware and would like to control TV, AV gear, garage doors and air-conditioner via IR. I followed the instruction http://wiki.micasaverde.com/index.php/Intro_Universal_Remote but still can’t even get Panasonic TV working. In Infrared device creation, I already tested ok with those buttons for Panasonic TV and followed the instruction . However, when I run the scene on my android phone and iphone, the system showed “Command executed OK” but not the control panel with buttons. Is there anyone who are familiar with these application? TIA
