How to change or reuse Node ID?

I added three wall plate controllers to my Zwave network and while all three controller’s IDs are below 32, they can’t control any devices whose Node ID exceeds 32.

I tried to change Node ID in the advanced settings but after saving new values Vera offered to assign device to a room with the old Node ID. I have a lot of gaps in the Node ID lineup and reusing unused numbers would solve the problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Virginian

IIUC,

If you just added the controllers and their ID’s are <32, that would imply:
A) You don’t have any nodes >32
or
B) You’ve reached node #232 and are already recycling the ID’s you indicated as gaps in your lineup.

Did you mean that you can’t control devices whose Device # is >32?

AFAIK, the user doesn’t have control over the NodeID assigned to a particular node.

Vera appears to assign the next available NodeID and wraps around at 232.
