Hello,
I am a bit of a newbie, so don’t shoot me if I am asking a simple question. I use micasaverde to control my kwikset lock. I have the autolock feature activated so that the deadbolt will lock 30 seconds after a code has been entered. Is there a way that I can extend the relock feature to a longer period of time, such as 2 minutes?
Thanks!
Matthew
There is no way to modify the time for the autolock feature. You will need to disable this feature and implement this yourself using scenes or the pleg plugin.

I 2nd what Garret has said.
Kwikset has no option to adjust that. And right now the Lock is set to autolock no matter if the door is open or not because the lock is controlling it.
What most end up doing is turning that feature off on the lock and using VERA to autolock it. With VERA you can set you own settings and use things like time of day, current door status open or closed, motion or not, and so on.
For someone just starting out PLEG may seem complicated, but after a short learning curve you will see the possibilities.
Thank you both for your assistance. Regarding PLEG, what is that and where can I locate that? Do either of you have a preference of using the Scenes feature vs. PLEG? Are there step by step instructions for either?
I use this system at our vacation rental which is currently 800 miles away. I would like to use something that is easy to work with, but also I can’t necessarily screw up. I am comfortable to tinker with things, but when it comes to code etc… forget about it!

There is a section on the forum for all things PLEG.
PLEG is an advanced scene generator. Problem with VERA is the built in scenes are very limited. You can only to some very basic scenes. PLEG is not code, but has a few parts and can be tricky expessily when your mind starts to create a scene that gets to complicated.

Great, I was googling the name PLEG and got nothing! I will look it up on this forum. Very helpful.
Well yea PLEG = Program Logic Event Generator
The creator Richard is an active member here but also has a website.

PLEG is free for 30 days I think, but it does cost $5.95. Registration is tied to your vera serial and down threw the app/ Richards registration portal. He also has several other handy apps/ plugins for your Android device and VERA.
Check his website, browse the forums, ask questions, test the trial.
