How to add dimmers

Hi,
I’ve been using Vera as a secondary controller, however, today I added two additional dimmers but I don’t know how to add them to Vera, (in a secondary setting). I would like to know how if someone can point me to a link (tutorial) on how to add them so that I don’t mess up my configuration. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

First, with your Primary controller, you add the new devices to the network. Then you select “Update controller” or “Send data to controller” on the Primary controller and in Vera Devices → Z-Wave → More Z-Wave Options → Copy Z-Wave network. That should copy the network setup from your Primary controller into Vera and include the new devices. Don’t worry about overwriting the old devices - Vera will detect they are the same and only prompt to configure the new ones.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I’m using the ControlThink Essential USB stick as my primary controller but to be 100 % sure, do I select “join or recover another network” from the latest ControlThink software ? It doesn’t give me the option of “Update controller or send data to controller”. I don’t recall how I did it 8 months ago !
