How do you determine what Vera is using for sunrise and sunset?

I think my VeraEdge is about 10 minutes off from the actual times. How can I pull the values from Vera?

Have you set up your city correctly in your settings/location. It can affect sunrise/sunset.

Yes it is set up properly but I know the coordinates in Vera for my actual location are about 400 miles off. Thought I would compare the sunrise sunset times and make a manual offset until the coordinate issue is fixed.

Can you not enter your actual coordinates directly?

I was told by MCV support that you cannot enter coordinates directly.

I can manually edit my coordinates.

I’ve done the same as my nearest known city is a few miles away. googled the Lat/long then just edited Vera (edge/ui7)

update : Vera has decided that it knows better than google, and has reset the coordinates! Oh well, another feature I assume?!

i was told by MCV Support that the coordinates listed under “Location” are based on the “City, State” entries and, although you can insert new values, will always revert to what is listed for the city. The coordinates for my city are wrong in the firmware or miOS.

Settings, location and just enter correct coordinates into the two boxes.
Hit save and done.

At least, that’s what worked for me.

Just tested that it still updates on UI7 1.7.1598 and it still works.

Thanks for the reply. My system keeps reverting to the wrong coordinates.
