What I’m trying to figure out is how to prevent a notification from being sent when I’m out of the house. After wrestling with setting up Vera Alerts, Tasker, Virtual Switches and 2 Phones I’ve finally got everything working (almost) the way I want.
I’ve got a notification setup to alert me when my wife’s phone connects to our home network. This is alerts me to the fact that she is home. It works as it should but… I don’t want to get those notifications while I’m not home. How do I turn off those notifications while I’m away.
A little background…
I’ve got a Tasker task that turns on a virtual switch to tell Vera when my (or my wife’s) phone connects to our home network. When her switch is turned on ;D , it sends the notification to my phone that she is home.
Any suggestions?
