That doesn’t affect streaming, so it won’t help you. Also, since your camera isn’t a Foscam camera, or even a camera that uses the same commands for pan/tilt as the Foscam camera, the plugin won’t help you at all.

I found that the UI uses the URL for the Quicktime player when the stream is viewed using the Quicktime player, even if it’s running in a normal browser.

I am having the same problem with ACTi-TCM-1111 cameras. My url that I enter into Firefox to steam is http://(ip address)/cgi-bin/cmd/encode?GET_STREAM and it works there but I can’t get it to work in Vera Lite. I added the camera manually and used the commands in this string to add get the video urls to appear. Can you tell me exactly what needs to appear as a value in the video url tab?

I have the camera added and the snapshot working but can’t get the streaming video to work. Manually added the lines in first part of this string to get the VideoURLs to load but having problems with syntax with my camera. I have tried many combinations of what I use with an internet browser with no luck.

Has anyone been able to get the FOSCAM IP Cams to stream?

So far this is what I have:

Vera Lite - UI5
FOSCAM FI8910W
Cameras do not show up on UPNP - Manual install
Used FOSCAM Plugin and I_FoscamPTZ.xml as directed (these should be part of the default Firmware IMHO)
Cameras show up in the device list, PT controls work, etc…

Remote Viewing:

Initially the cameras would not show up on any of the remote (iOS and Droid) apps that I tried - I found in the forums a recommedation to change the following:

urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:DigitalSecurityCamera:2 to urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:DigitalSecurityCamera:1
D_DigitalSecurityCamera2.xml to D_DigitalSecurityCamera1.xml

This allowed the cameras to show up in SQRemote (iOS) and Home Buddy (Droid), they do not show up in Vera Mobile (one with the leaf icon and the one with the house icon).

The image in SQRemote will update every second or two, but it does not stream. The snapshot will show up in Home Buddy but will not stream (fails to connect to camera). Obviously the images and streaming does not work in Vera Mobile since they do not even show up on the device list on those apps.

Some detailed instructions would be awesome
