How do I reset wd00z?

I installed a wd00z to use as a 3 way switch but when I tried to associate it with a wd500 it failed to configure… deleted the device from zwave but now the status light o the switch remain off and I can add it back to vera. All connections are confirmed good.

I think you have some typos in your post. It says I can add it back to vera, but i think you meant to say that you can not add it to Vera. I would recommend:

  1. Power cycle the switch at the breaker.
  2. Exclude the switch(again). (Note that this switch has two include modes NWI is a single tap, standard include is a double tap. Use double tap when excluding.)
    2a. While not usually necessary, you may wish to power cycle the breaker again.
  3. Include the switch.

To reset a WT00Z-1 to factory defaults, you have to Exclude it.

The switch doesn’t seem to respond to anything.

Then it sounds like the switch is dead.
