I had a defective Foscam and had to send it back. Now it’s annoying “ghost” device is haunting my Vera. Can I delete it without removing the plugin and my other working cameras?
This should work…

Replace the local_Vera_IP and device_ID with information from your setup.
I just had a very similar situation happen to me as described here! It was about to drive me crazy trying to figure out a way to uninstall the “ghost device”. Whenever I paired the Foscam FI8910W to my Vera 3 home network I did so while the camera was hard wired via ethernet. Whenever I switched it over to wireless, the Vera 3 controller viewed the device as a new one. Whenever I uninstalled the “ghost camera” I also had to uninstall the plugin associated with it. This left me right back to square one on getting the camera re-introduced to the Vera 3 network. Talk about P.O.'d! LOL I stumbled across this link on accident, but it worked like a charm! A million thanks for posting this. “Loose ends” like having a “ghost” device on the network drive me INSANE!
I forgot to say THANK YOU to knewmania months ago. :-[ .
No worries glad to help. Now pay it forward…
Definitely.
