How do I make a general Z-wave device behave into a smoke siren?

Hi,

I have some issues in making/ adding the siren that is z-wave enabled. Its a smoke siren. I want it to behave as a smoke siren since its just a general I/O in the vera UI. Can you please help. Thanks
