How do i integrate my smart switch plugin with scenes so lights come on at night

i have the smart switch plugin and i was wondering how i integrate it with scenes like the author of the app says to in order to have the door-opened-lights-on command execute only at night.

anyone have experience with this?

would it be simpler to use luup with this?

for all kinds of ideas on what to do.
