Is it possible/easy to downgrade to 1.7.906 - I’ve just had problems since upgrading.
How do you go about a downgrade?

Yes, it is fairly easy.
Wait until a little later today and jump on Vera chat support. They will need to provide you the URL to the firmware you are looking for.
If you are lucky, you will be able to just downgrade without losing any settings. If you are not, I hope you have a previous backup from before you upgraded as the newest backup may not restore on an older firmware.
