Please help, I am new to Vera. Very excited but getting frustrated 
- I have created a MiOS account
- I am able to log on with my computer at home to [u]https://cp.mios.com/login.php[/u]
- I add my Unit to my MiOS account on that page
- It says Vera Systems NONE, and I click the little plus sign and then I am at GetVera Basic Home screen

There are several options for controlling your Vera systems using a mobile phone:
Web-based Mobile Apps
SmartPhone Web Interface Plugin
Works with: Any smartphone with a web browser This is a secure way to control Vera without installing any software on your phone. It works with all phones that have a web browser and it’s free.
First be sure the SmartPhone plugin is installed on any Vera system you want to control this way. You can do this by going back to theApps tab, select “Install apps” click Install on the SmartPhone Web Interface plugin. Then you can visit http://micasaverde.com/phone/ and supply your Vera account login and select the “SmartPhone” button.
Note: If you have more than 1 Vera system on this account you will be prompted to select which one you want to control.
- I have gone to the “Advanced setting” tab and went to the Apps tab and added “SmartPhone Web Interface” (Not sure what that does)
Now, when I use my iphone at home with WiFi turned off or if I am away from my house I cannot seem to log onto the mobile site
- I go to: [u]https://cp.mios.com/mobile[/u]
- I put in my MiOS “User” and “Password”
- I select “graphical version for smartphones”
And I get:
“You don’t have any unit assigned to your MiOS account”

For the life of me, I do not know what i am doing wrong I seem to add my “Unit” every time I log in with my PC?

Just wanted to follow up. It took a couple days for my account to get verified and so I did a ton of reading through all the posts 
I was able to determine the issue. Feel fre to elaborate on my findings
I just recently bought a Vera3 and so I’m new Home Automation. I could not see spending ~$30 a month or so for paid services. I even looked at Lowes Iris and said I dont even want to pay $10 amonth if I can do it for free. So here I am
I bought the Vera3, went through the start up process and follwed the directions. It updated my controller to UI6. Long story short, its in Beta and everything does not work so well in UI6 and I needed to get back to UI5.
So:
- I was running UI6 which does not work with mobile devices
- I had to downgrade to UI5 and everything works now. To do this, it was another ton of searching and reading.
- I am starting to add all my devices to the network. Also have many more on order and even bought some GE ones at Lowes and going to work on tonight.
LOL, I think I’m already $900 into it. I guess that is almost like 3 years of ADT. Wonder if I thought this out right. But its a fun hoby so hard to put a price on that.

There are apps in the upgrade process for UI6 so keep an eye out for the chatter on this forum. it looks like there are a couple that will likely be done in a few weeks.
You will also want to take a look at which plugins are in development also, for example if you want to integrate your alarm system (I imagine coming off of ADT you will/did) or Sonos or Somfy blinds or…
If you are an Android user or an iPhone, you can start by following those relevant threads.
Have fun with your new hobby. if you like a challenge, this is a good one.

There is a mobile app for UI6 called MMS Vera and most 3rd party app in the progress of updating currently.
