Honeywell YTH8320ZW1007 thermostat - can't connect to network

I’m having trouble getting my controller to add a Honeywell YTH8320ZW1007 thermostat.

Controller is a VeraLite; Firmware is 1.7.760. As others have mentioned, there is no Honeywell thermostat under add devices. I’ve tried to add as a generic device, but it fails. I’ve tried using the battery backup and bringing the controller to the thermostat and using an extended cat5 cable to have the veralite powered up. Thermostat is on rF10 1 “adding device”, but fails every time. Any ideas?

I had this happen last week on a Vera Plus. I unplugged the Plus for a minute, then plugged it back in and waited for it to reboot. After that, the thermostat added fine. Try it on the Veralite, just take out the batteries too.

It was a bad thermostat. I replaced it with a new one and it worked fine. That’s apparently what you get when you buy an amazon warehouse “deal”.
