Hello! Seem to be having trouble installing the HomeWave Push app from the app store. I have been trying to follow the instructions under the “configuring” and “adding push notifications” tab @ http://homewave.intvelt.com/ . However, my Vera 3 seems to be having trouble installing the app. After I click install in the App Store, the app doesn’t seem to be installing correctly. At the top of the screen in the blue bar, the Vera goes baxck and forth from saying “Please wait…”, “Downloading plugin# 5186”, and “configuring Z-wave devices in your system”. Under the devices tab, there is a brand new device which is totally blank on the device screen. Once I click on it, under advanced, I do not have the propper space to enter my newly created PushID that I created on my HomeWave app on my iphone… I have tried placing my vera in a DMZ zone on my router, disabling the firewall on my computer, uninstalling the app, unplugging the vera, and re-installing; all end with negative results. The plugin just keeps trying to install… Not sure what else I can try! I see the app was just recently updated on 7/13/2015. Anyone else experiencing similar installation issues?

I have been using HomeWave on my iphone for some time now, yet have had to use the alerts from my EnvisaLink portofolio to get alarm alerts (DSC alarm panel). Getting push notifications would help me eliminate using the Envisalink app and use HomeWave only.

The exact same problem occurred after I published a new version of the Hue plugin. And I have no clue what is going on, I am publishing these plugins in the exact same manner as I have before. I have mailed Vera / Mios over a month ago but I haven’t had a reply. It seems a few other plugins have suffered from the same issue.

So, I am working on it but so far I have no fix. I have unpublished v1.2, and published a new version with the same files (currently pending approval from Vera). That fixed the issue last time for the Hue plugin

Vera Ltd are working on the problem. In the mean time, you can install the plugin manually by using this URL in a browser on your home network:
http://x.x.x.x:3480/data_request?id=action&serviceId=urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:HomeAutomationGateway1&action=CreatePlugin&PluginNum=5186&Version=28076

Replace x.x.x.x with the IP address of your Vera. After the URL has been loaded, your Vera will install the plugin.

The plugin in the app store is now once again safe to install!

Hi,

I’ve got the Homewave Push app installed on my Vera Lite (UI7 1.7.649) and it’s working well. I want to create another instance of the application for my partners iPhone to get some specific alerts, but the usual “Create Another” and “Update App” buttons are missing.

Is there an alternate way to create another device, or to get the buttons back?
