What makes your fan speed to change? Is it something that is done through your current thermostat, or is it through some relays. What causes the speed change? Demand?
If you don’t really need to control the fan speed, which I suspect you really don’t, you could use any single stage cool thermostat. If you do actually need to change the fan speed based on some sort of demand (temperature difference from setpoint) then you could use a multi-stage cool thermostat. I think one of the Honeywell stats does 3 stage cooling. Then all you would do is use the staging to make the fan speed changes. e.g. Low would work for stage 1, medium with stage 2, and high with stage 3.
Hope this was somewhat helpful.
Does the AC have a remote? Then you could control it by using an sqblaster for example…
That’s how I control my AC. (well basically it’s only a unit to get some cold air, not a real air conditioning with heating and cooling)
Hi Guys,
this is the the connection of my old stat.
Fan Control
Red = High (Hi,Med,Low) = N1
Yellow = Medium
Blue = Low
Black = L1
24vac supply
Red = L
Black = N
Valve
CW = Y/G
CCW = Blue
Old stat Brand = Pacific Control
I want to change to Honeywell TH8320ZW1000 is it possible?
