Ok, well I have wasted the last 3 hours trying to figure out why my newly installed ZRW113 is not being polled by Vera if I turn it on at the switch. I can manually get Vera to poll when I press “Poll Now” it will update in my dashboard as expected. I’ve played with the poll settings with no change. Can someone please help. As with most things I am guessing this is a very simple fix that I am overlooking.

Well, I have gotten around it for the time being. I really only wanted this so that I could have a timed switch where I have the ACT connected. I wanted Vera to “sense” (in other words poll) when the device was turned on and then automatically turn it off 60 minutes later.
For now I will create a scene that has a timer turning the device off every 60 minutes or so… the annoying part being that if I turn the switch on just before the timer, it could only be on for a few minutes.
I’m not sure if this’ll help, but the only time I’ve seen behavior like this with other devices (I don’t have a ZRW113), was when the devices were not set to “Automatically configure” in Vera.
Try double checking that Automatically Configure is set to Yes, and then run a “Configure Node Right Now”
It may be that the ZRW113 just doesn’t support instant status update. If this is the case, you could try setting the polling interval to a low number to force Vera to poll it regularly.
