help with writing this condition

Looking for help scripting the following condition:

Basically - Lights on motion, but only if the room was previously and recently occupied.

I don’t want the motion to trigger an on event for initial motion trip but if the room was recently occupied and the light shut off (due to other motionless condition) the light should flip back on if someone moves.

Sounds like a sequence expression. Can you post what you have so far? Preferably a status report…

Right now basement_on runs on immediate motion. Bit drafty and it triggers too quickly so I will be replacing that condition. You will manually have to turn on that switch but after 15 minutes of no motion it turns off due to basement_off. If you are still there (not all of area is covered well by motion) and you move it should trigger it back on.
