Hi all, OK, I’ll try to explain as simply as I can.
I have just had a new boiler fitted, a Valliant Eco Tec 28. The guys who fitted it wired it up to a Danfoss reciever which wirelessly talks to a thermostat in the hall.
I can’t get on with this system (plus the wife doesn’t like it because you can’t set it for different times of the day) so I have just bought a Valliant VRT350F set up consisting of a radio receiver that clips into the front facia of the boiler and a radio controller that obviously controls the temp of the boiler.
Now basically I just can’t get my boiler to fire up with this new system in place. It looks like both units are talking to each other as the rf signal is showing as a 9 or a 10. I have disconnected the Danfoss receiver in as much as I’ve unscrewed it from the wall so no connection is being made between that and the boiler but I am thinking do I need to get into the boiler and undo any wiring so the boiler dosent think there is an external device fitted…??
I hope that makes sense, Any help would be great as I’m well and truly stuck at the mo…
