I was trying to program this in “luup.inet.wget(“:/admin?profile=1&lock=2&user=&pw=”)". <> were replaced with correct values for my system. After doing this I started getting the ERROR : Error in lua for scenes and scenes events when the engine was restarted. Not knowing what the cause was I deleted the scenes that used lua plus the one mentions above. Now I always get that message event after rebooting vera. Also before I deleted the two good scenes they did not function properly. Any ideas one what I can do to resolve this. I suspect it had something to do with the unicode characters before the section. Thanks
You may want to try and restore from a recent backup. One made just before you started getting the LUA error. That should hopefully resole the issue.

Yes, unless you make changes, Vera does a nightly backup.
This is actually a very NICE feature of Vera … and something you hardly appreciate, and in your case did not even know, until you need it.
