Just got my Vera Plus. Followed migration steps listed here:
http://support.getvera.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2337105-to-veraplus-from-veralite-or-vera-3
Scenes migrate but no Z wave devices migrated (all Leviton Vizia RF+ dimmer switches) Lite to Plus
Also old Vera lite NOT being set to slave (secondary) ZF controller.
Settings/Z wave Settings/Options listed for both Lite and Plus as:
“Role:Master SIS: NO PRI: YES”
Also, can’t find any docmentation on how to pair / unpair a Z wave device with Plus. No obvious battery compartment. Can’t figure out how to energize box to remote devices for pairing when Vizia Plus is too far away from AC outlet to be plugged in.
It sounds like your copying of the Z-Wave network failed or you missed a step. I suggest that you start again.
The Vera Plus has no battery compartment. If you need to move the Vera Plus to include a device - you may not need to move Vera Plus to include a device, try it - you should plug in the Vera Plus close to the device, then use the select button to cycle through the radios until you get to Z-Wave(see LEDs), then press the sync button.
If there really is no outlet with 10 feet of the device you wish to include, you can use an extension cord. If you absolutely have to have a battery or just prefer to have one, then you can get 12VDC battery packs like these:
Fashion Outlet Mini Portable DC-168 12V Rechargeable Li-ion Battery Pack
HitLights Rechargeable 3800mAh Lithium Ion Battery Pack with DC Connector, 12 volt
