Currently I am using a Vera3 with FW Ver 1.7.541. I have 92 devices (with 12 addition sub devices) attached to my Vera - They are as follows:
8 Motion Sensors
2 Door Locks
1 Glass Break Sensor
16 Door/Window Sensor
6 Outdoor Module
1 Lamp Module
19 On/Off Light Switches
15 Dimmer Switches
5 Ceiling Fan Dimmers
2 Thermostats
2 Multi Sensors (4 in 1)
1 3-Way Switch
5 Water Leak Sensor
1 Tilt Sensor
1 Appliance Module
7 Smoke / Carbon Monoxide Detectors
I just purchased - 4 of the motion sensors, 5 water leak sensors, 1 outdoor switch and a few others that haven’t been installed yet. When I tried to install the motion sensors - I started having problems - I had installed them before without issue - however - once I was done - one of my door locks stopped working and stopped responding. I reset to factory and installed a good previous backup and deleted the new devices I had just installed and started over again - This time - I installed the motion sensors and water leak detectors and now my garage door module has stopped working as and will not respond.
I added 7 devices yesterday and now 11 are no longer reachable.
Have I reached the limit of what the Vera3 is capable of? do I need to install another controller? I plan on adding an addition 20 motion sensors and 49 outlets and if I’m having these issues now - what can I expect in the future?
