Just bought a replacement camera for my old Panasonic camera which is a new F19826 HD camera. I when to the app store and downloaded the HD Foscam app but can never create a new device, I get a message that it created a new device but after refreshing my browser there is no device showing. I even tried using the old Panasonic device by changing the XML and JSON with the same file names from another Foscam device with no avail… any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Before someone asks yes the camera works, I’m able to view sharp video on Blue Iris and Web page. Mike
[glow=red,2,300]Update:[/glow] Well I was able to get the camera working by install the camera manually selecting “Other Ip Camera” and introduce the following URL when requested :
[glow=green,2,300]CAMERA_IP[/glow]/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=[glow=green,2,300]YOUR_USERNAME[/glow]&pwd=[glow=green,2,300]YOUR_PASSWORD [/glow]
Change the highlighted green with your camera particulars. but no change on the Foscam HD plugin. Mike
