Has anyone ever seen non functioning ZW4001 switch"

Hi everyone:

I have installed 7 Zw4001 switches in my house and was trying to install # 8 today. This is the first one i bought used and that was back in Feb 2014! I didn’t get to installing it until today. (i.e. return period is over)

Did everything right, wires, neutral, etc. It wouldn’t work! I tried everything, even switching the wires around. I have had it before that a switch didn’t work but i found out that the air gap switch was pulled out. It is in place on this one though…

Is is possible that this switch is fried? it doesn’t smell weird or anything…

Of course it’s possible that it’s fried, even more so since it is used.

Does it completely not work, or is it just not including? If the latter, it probably needs to be excluded first.

No life whatsoever… No LED or click sound…

I am going to try it one last time but then its going on eBay (for parts not working)
