My house has a series of hardwired smoke detectors. My alam company says that they can interface them into the alarm panel for monitoring. Just was curious if that means they’ll show up as smoke detectors in vera (using ad2usb) like the motion sensors, etc.
They will show up like any other zone that you have already added
The Alarm plugins could be modified to support Smoke Alarms … but that zone option is not available at this time.
This is a PLUGIN issue.
You may be able to add a relay if they are interconnected and the manufacturer has an approved add on relay. My kidde units have an approved relay. You can connect the relay to a Vera contact such as some door sensors have.
