I recently upgraded to 843 firmware. Previously, I was able to successfully use Method #1 on a HA 07 controller.
I got a new HA09 controller and successfully added it by doing the ‘add controller’. Then I went to assign scenes to the buttons and redo the ‘Add Controller’ but it hangs and never completes the programming. If I re-do it but without trying to assign scenes to its buttons, it goes through the process successfully.
I then tried the same for my HA07 controller, but it too hangs if I have scenes to buttons. But the ‘add controller’ works fine of no scenes are put onto the buttons.
I can manually add devices to buttons for the the HA07 and HA09, but I’d really like to do this through Vera. Add it worked fine before the Luup firmware.
Ok. I reloaded firmware 862. HA09 will still not load if I have a scene assigned to a key. But if I don’t have any scenes assigned to the buttons, the add controller command works fine.
Were you able to reproduce this? I’m on .900 and have the new dongle (that process worked great by the way), but I’m still having the same issue with my HA09 controller.
Adds fine without any scenes connected to the keys, but when I add scenes it doesn’t work.
Vera starts talking to it, the HA09 green light starts flashing, but the process never completes. I’m using Method #1.
