HA05C issues since upgrade

I have an Intermatic HA05C device. It has worked well for over a year. Since the upgrade, Vera can set it to OFF but not ON. It works when I press the button on the device. The led flashes to indicate a signal was received. Does anyone else have this problem?

This issue, a bug in UI7, has been reported by others. Downgrade to UI5 or wait and hope for a fix. There’s likely a problem in the json/xml device description files.

I had the same problem. Vera support solved the problem. See below

Hello Aubrey,

For some reason the devices in your network reconfigured, so you would need to remove the variable 37 from the Intermatic?s Advanced Settings.
I attached a snapshot on how to do it and I left the BedRoomLamp untouched so you can do that change.

So you only deleted the 3 and the 7? Everything else stays? I tried that but it didn’t seem to work for me. Mine shows “R,|37,39” Thanks.

I deleted 37, from the string and went to the bottom and said reload engine. I have several ha05’s and one of them has reverted back and added the 37 back into the string. I deleted it and reloaded the engine and so far it is working. They have a lot of work to do on UI7.

I did this as well but at least once per day it resets the value.

Thank you for posting this information. I was confused as to why these were the only devices not to work after I upgraded to UI7.

All 4 of mine have been working since I made the change. The changes have been persistent for me.

I found that it is not the ‘37’ that needs to be removed but the ‘|’ just before the 37.

I removed the ‘|’ character and pressed the ‘Reload Engine’ button, now I can turn the HA05C lamps On and Off.
