Im sure this has been answered somewhere on here, but I have been searching for two days and literally read every post in the forum before posting asking for help.
Im trying to figure out a way to get the google calendar plugin to trigger a different automation schedule based on my work schedule so I can control my heat schedule based on times when I am home and times when I am at work.
I work 2 days, 2 nights then have 4 off. In my Google calendar I use the keywords DAYS, NIGHTS and OFF.
I have the plugin working now, but it will only allow for one keyword entry at a time. It will trigger properly on the keyword, but i can only enter one keyword
Do I need to install multiple instances of the plugin, one with each keyword? If so, how do I do that?
If not, is there a way to make the plugin have multiple keyword triggers?
Again, I apologize if this has already been covered but I have practically read the entire forum and googled every possible way I can think of to query this.
You need to create additional google calendar plugins for each keyword. You can do this by going into the “Apps” tab and clicking on the Google Calendar Plugin, a window will popup and you click on “Create Another”.
Glad I can be of help. I do wish the plugin can support multiple keywords instead of having multiple versions of the plugin. I was thinking of making the modifications, but right now my time is pretty limited.
I know this is an old thread, but I am wondering if you ever added the ability to use multiple keywords. I have searched but haven’t found any references that it has been added. I would love to be able to add the keywords for all of the holidays that I don’t work since they are a constant and I didn’t want to have to make a separate instance for each holiday.
Currently, I make a new Google calendar event called vacation for each of these holidays.
