I instantly thought “this is how I will control my Vera scenes in the future”. Whether that will be with voice controls or if they will somehow figure out how to do something “micro-location” enough like an iBeacon architecture remains to be seen. Did you see the promo video? At the very end a girl says “ok google, open my garage” and it opens…seems to be foreshadowing of some home automation integration to come, especially when taking Google’s purchase of Nest and their entrance into the home automation market into consideration.

Google has been planning on entering the home automation for some time now. At least since early 2011 -

I am excited for this wearable tech and integrating into home automation.

You and AuthomationHD is the first thing I thought of. Keep us updated. Flicking the risk and giving voice commands to unlock the door or adjust the thermostat will be awesome.

it will be interesting to see who really wins in the OS war for wearables…

Yes Immediately thought of AuthomationHD and Orange squeeze. For audio and voice control around the home.

Have you tried running your app in the emulator yet? heard others have and had success. But I guess your app is a completely different beast.

My only concern for this device is 22mm bands, the 1.7 inch horizontal size and the chunk looks that can be seen in the videos but cleverly hidden in all promotional shots ( they are shot top down and no angle to side)

As I have small wrists I’m hopping the 360 is not to thick =S
