Global scene override?

Okay…

So aside from my motion sensor and Schlage lock woes, I’ve got pretty cool control over a lot of the lighting in my house. Many of the settings I have are just to turn lights off at certain times of day, and at the end of the evening (teenagers). I’m heading out for the weekend, and I have a “global scene” set up with all the lights coming on at a set time, and staying on for varying amounts of time, depending on the room. Most of these timers will keep the lights on longer than they normally would on their ‘regular’ timers. My question: When I enable the global ‘vacation’ scene, will it override the existing scenes, or will I need to uncheck all of them?

Global, has no meaning other than organization in Vera, they will not override any of your other scenes.

Got it-that said, is there a way to make a particular scene, when enabled, override any conflicting scenes?

Not really sure what you mean by “conflicting”, but the only way to make sure a scene does not change the state, or setting of a device is to deactivate it by unchecking the box for the scene.
