In a new (for me) home, I am investigating setting up an automation system.
Vera Edge would appear to be a strong candidate for this as the good thing is that it has an active community with lots of information.
The bad thing is that it has lots of information, making it difficult to find what is required.
For the newcomer, I see references to a “Quick Start Guide”, but cannot find anything other than pages referring to this guide.
As a newcomer, I see references to MiOS, but it is not clear where this runs. Is this something that runs on my computer to access devices through the Vera Edge module, or does it run on the Vera Edge with access to it through a browser.
If it runs on the computer, I would like to install it before making a decision.
With so much information available, I failed to find a page that explains these basics.
I would appreciate a little guidance on this, a link to a page explaining it if one exists.
